Ever since India’s lost to New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup semi-finals, there have been rumors about Rift Between Rohit Sharma And Virat Kohli.
It’s clear to all that everything is not good inside the dressing room of the Men in Blue. And the assumption of the split captaincy was another stunt which was putting a clear light on the rumous.
Virat Kohli was about to take a small break from cricket. But suddenly he made himself available for the coming tour of West-Indies.
It happened right after the suggestion of split captaincy started spreading like fire.
However, Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun, who too enjoys a great rapport with the Indian players, has rubbished all such theories. He said that both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are happy to speak to one another and take inputs and do whatever it takes to benefit the side.
He also said that the Indian team was in high spirits right throughout the World Cup. ‘They get along well’
Although, in recent event, Rohit had unfollowed Virat on his Instagram page. But now the issue seems to be more intense as he also unfollowed Virat’s wife and actor Anushka Sharma.
Although Virat and Rohit have kept mum on the issue.
It seems like Anushka Sharma have decided to take a stand in the whole rift. She shared a cryptic note on her Instagram which hinted about the war between the skipper and the vice-captain.
The actress shared a quote which read as,
‘A wise man once said Nothing. Only truth can shake hands with silence in a mess of false appearances…’
Notably, Virat Kohli is still following Rohit Sharma on instagram which make the rift even more complex.
Meanwhile, Rohit sharma will be playing for India against West-Indies in all the three formats. So, it will be really interesting to see, how both the players will get along on the field despite the rumored rift.
