A massive fire broke out in Delhi’s Anaj mandi area on sunday morning in which atleast 45 people have died so far. This incident happened when a fire broke out in a luggage manufacturing factory in a crowded area of North Delhi. Most of the people who died till now in this massacre were labourers who were sleeping at the factory in Anaj Mandi on Rani Jhansi Road. As per the sources, fire broke out around 5 A.M in the morning.

Delhi police have confirmed the number of deaths and even mentioned that the death count can increase too. According to the latest figure, a total of 56 people have been injured in the fire.
The very cause of the fire which was reported at 5:22 AM today is still unknown. But the 30 fire trucks available at the spot have taken the situation under control. The fire is suspected to have started at the workshop of a bag manufacturing company where 50 workers were sleeping or working inside.
Authorities of the LNJP hospital have confirmed that many injured labourers who were brought here have died. Many of the rescued and injured have been taken to the RML hospital as well as Hindu Rao Hospital too.
The whole place of Delhi’s anaj mandi have become chaotic with relative and locals rushing to the spot. Distraught family members are trying to locate their relatives at various hospital where the injured and dead have been taken.
Delhi (aap) Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have just announced a compensation of Rs. 10 lakh to families of those killed at Delhi’s Anaj Mandi. Apart form that, an additional 1 lakh to those have injuries.
A magisterial level inquiry will take place to find the reason behind it, said by Delhi’s (aap)Chief minister Arvind kejriwal.
Arvind kejriwal further said,
Delhi’s anaj mandi tragedy is a very sad incident for sure. 40 people have died till now and I don’t want this number to go up. A magisterial inquiry will set up to find the reason.
But for now, Delhi’s aap government have taken a good stand of taking care of the expense of medical treatment of those injured in Delhi’s anaj mandi fire.
Even Prime minister Narendra Modi described this incident as extremely horrific, he tweeted
